LRT System 2 – Managing Consultant and Project Management Services
Engaged by Putra Bhd as Lead Consultant in association with Halcrow and De Leuw Cather. The Putra-LRT stretched 29km and was constructed under two sections. Section 1 of the project stretched 14.1km from the Lembah Subang depot station to the Pasar Seni station. Section 2 stretched 14.9km from the Pasar Seni station to Gombak.
From Lembah Subang, the route ran in an easterly direction through the residential areas of Taman Mayang,
Paramount Garden, Section 14 and crossed into the Wilayah Persekutuan boundary after Taman Jaya in Petaling Jaya. It also passed through Kerinchi, Bangsar, Brickfields before reaching the City Centre at Pasar Seni to Gombak. The majority sections of this latter line were elevated.
Scope:
- Reviewed all applicable data, criteria, drawings and other information for design
- Coordinated design with all appropriate authorities and owner
- Developed requirements for others to carry out additional geotechnical, utilities and other investigation
- Submitted design schedule
- Developed requirements for others to carry out additional topographical or control surveys
- Project quality plan
- Prepared and submit design calculation
- Prepared all necessary construction and shop drawings
- Prepared bills of quantities
- Prepared bending schedule
- Certified all drawings
